The Bravery

When the ‘Blue Monday’ wash of ‘Honest Mistake’ first swept at us, we shuddered. Electro-pop with a rasp for rock that works.
No, don’t call them the next Killers. It’s too easy. Instead – five, smart New York glam-boys with a succession of tunes so strong that this past summer saw every label worth its salt under the sun gunning for signatures. Island won. As they often do.

And here comes their debut-EP – ‘Unconditional’, released via Loog in the UK, and Universal every-bloody-where else.
About to embark on a debut UK tour – inclusive of a four-night residency at Metro – you may well have recognised them at a recent rockfeedback-affiliated promotion; their London debut at the Barfly was just last week as we go to press. And it was sensational. Ladies, gentlemen – meet singer Sam Endicott and his army. You’ll want to know them.

OFFICIAL SITE: Including two mp3 sound-files of the NYC outfit, in addition to a glut of classy photos plus contact-info, theirs is still yet to feature the full va-va-voom that’ll one day muster the fivesome’s authorised site as ‘detailed’. But we forgive them.
THEBRAVERYFAN: Boasting press-snippets and the sort of unbridled fan input and adoration that very often makes unofficial websites that much more enjoyable/scary a viewing experience, thebraveryfan.com gains chalks from us for simply being the first dedicated tribute-site to the band.
GIG-STORY – 4TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL GUESTS: the teaser news-story we posted in regards to our recent anniversary shows, where we weren’t (then) allowed to announce The Bravery as the ‘special guests’ to our Camden Barfly promotion.
NEWS-STORY – 4TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW REPORT: we provide a brief news-story that outlines the comings and goings of our aforementioned Barfly event, which happened to feature The Bravery’s debut UK gig. A coup.
