The Plastiscines

BIOGRAPHY
Looking at the Plastiscines it's clear that, aesthetically, they symbolise the French fantasy. The all-girl Parisian quartet are beautiful, young and hot-tempered. The school girls, who came together at a Libertines gig in Paris in 2004, are now all aged between 21 and 22 are embarking on their first studio album 'About Love'.
The band's approach is basic, a few chords chugging along on distorted guitars, drums and bass thudding away, but lead vocalist Katty has a low, brassy voice, backed by exuberant group singing from her bandmates that puts them closer to the Clash's pop classicist end of the punk spectrum.
The Plastiscines offer basically what you hope for from musicians their age: huge potential for the future and a lot of fun right now.

TOUR DATES
Unfortunately this super-cool troupe of French punks are bouncing around their native land in support of Marcel Marceau on his spoken word tour, so unless you can cough up les francs, you’re going to have to wait till they reach these shores again. We’ll be sure to keep you informed.
