Yes, these are four young whippersnappers in tidy jeans and jumpers, bearing snazzy haircuts and brandishing a mini-catalogue of soundtrack-yer-house-party greats in the making – hell, their debut-45 ‘Maybe Someday’ almost charted off the back of buzz alone.
Led by Preston, the quietly assured, wisely astute singer/guitarist, The Boys also number William J Brown on lead-guitar, drummer Charlie, and bassist James. And, uh-hmm - save for Brown, this quartet are too cool for surnames. Worship them.
