After his incredible sell out show at Servant Jazz Quarters back in 2016, Adam Betts brings his drum kit to The Shacklewell Arms in March.
“So much electronic music has had problems with performance - how much of the amazing programmed music can be recreated live? For me music has been so much about the connection between the performers onstage and the audience.” explains Betts "It's really a punk show with tape delays instead of guitar chords!”
For all his technical ability, the experimental format and instrumentation, Betts’ live show is an enthralling, evocative, rewarding journey of mesmerising musicianship, avant-garde in formation, yet undeniably catchy & invigorating. It’s just so much fun!
This is the electronic project of English producer Benjamin Gregory. Subtly inspired by Italo-Disco and Chicago House, GRIP TIGHT brings hints of Kraftwerk, Joy Division and Arthur Russell to create darkly atmospheric and captivating pop songs.
