Black Peaches is the new project of Rob Smoughton, probably best known as a long-time member of Hot Chip and Scritti Politti, while his alter-ego Grovesnor has released a number of albums to critical acclaim.
A midway point between the swamp and the tropics, Black Peaches’ music is gloriously loose-limbed and strung-out: a psychotropic stew of country boogie, spiritual jazz and funk.
Following the recent unveiling of Black Peaches debut single, ‘Fire & A Water Sign’, 1965 Records’ are delighted to announce the released of the debut album, ‘Get Down You Dirty Rascals which will get its release on March 4, 2016.
Olivier Heim is an award-winning Dutch composer and performer born in the US, raised in Luxemburg and currently living in Warsaw, Poland. Starting his career in the international trio Très.b, Olivier has now released his solo debut album A Different Life under his own name and has been noticed by important media such as The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, DIY, The Line of Best Fit, Wonderland and Huw Stephens (Radio1). Olivier is acclaimed because of his fresh, new style of surf pop and chillwave being often compared to Mac DeMarco, Jaakko Eino Kalevi or Toro y Moi.
