Shake the Shudder are words to live by and ones that !!! fully embrace. There are always fears to  be  faced  and  new  paths  to  forge,  and  those  uncertainties  never  hold  them  back.  They  just propel  them  to  jump  in  head  first.  For  years  !!!  have  run  the  dance  band  gambit  and  become New  York  City  legends.  From  their  start  in  Sacramento,  to  Brooklyn  house  party  staples  and Union  Pool  residencies,  and  now  delighting  festival  stages  from  Primavera  to  FYF,  they’ve cemented their place as part of New York’s live dance scene -- while others have drifted into the history  books.  !!!  continuously  evolve  and  grow  their  sound  album  to  album,  deftly  navigating through changes in scenes, thriving where others would have been crushed under the daun ting nature of inevitably changing landscapes

Following hot on the heels of 2015’s self-titled debut, ‘Melt’ is the second album from Oli Bayston, the singer, songwriter, producer and front-man of Boxed In. It is an album of warmly inviting yet coolly controlled electronic pop, at once intelligent and full of feeling. Its 11 songs are quirky, infectious, accessible yet experimental, richly detailed, with the accent on midtempo art ache; the beats are propulsive and the basslines pulsate, designed for clubbing, while the melodies tease and tug, aimed for lonely late-night listening. If your dream notion of modern dance music includes a fresh spin on ‘70s krautrock, ’80s synthpop and ‘90s house and techno, then you’ll love ‘Melt’.

"Sink Ya Teeth, two women from Norwich, have but one single and a ‘zine to their names (both already sold out on their Bandcamp), but their sound arrives fully formed—a melding of post-punks like ESG and the Raincoats with the early machine patters of Chicago house." Pitchfork
