This show is part of Illuminations, a special week-long series of curated events and shows in London, taking place across a variety of venues around the city in November.
Formed in 2001, the Portland-based Chromatics features singer Ruth Radelet, guitarist Adam Miller, drummer Nat Walker, and producer/multi-instrumentalist Johnny Jewel. The band has released four studio albums including the acclaimed Night Drive, which was released on Italians Do It Better in 2007. The band's latest studio album, Kill For Love, was released this March to strong reviews. Originally described as a no-wave band, Chromatics have since been associated with a slow, dark and dreamy take on the Italo Disco sub-genre.
Glass Animals vocalist and songwriter David Bayley draws influence for both music and artwork from his involvement in the world of medicine and neuroscience (at just 22 yrs old, he has studied both) creating a sound with it’s roots spread between the electronic and live instrumentation. The result is the warm, narcotic space between a downbeat, slow-burning groove and electro-pop catchiness.

Additionally, our good friends from Loud & Quiet will be manning the decks in between the bands.
