LOS CAMPESINOS!

"We, the band Los Campesinos!, announce our new album Sick Scenes, to be released worldwide via Wichita Recordings on 24th February 2017. It is our great pleasure that to celebrate the release of our sixth album whilst also undertaking tours of UK and North America, including our first West Coast shows in over five years.

We recorded the album, co-produced by long-time collaborator John Goodmanson and band member Tom Bromley, during Euro 2016 in Fridao, Portugal. The album exists as an expression of the pent-up aggression we felt due to being inactive for so long, but it’s also a celebration of just getting to be a band, of getting to play music with our friends. Thematically the record is concerned with fumbling for personal relevance while trying to be a better person. Repressing anxiety and attempting to function while constantly maintaining the perfect two beer buzz. It is set upon a backdrop of non-league football, prescribed medication and crumbling home towns. These truly are the Sickest Scenes."

In support of the record, Los Campesinos! will headline KOKO, having sold out a Christmas show at Moth Club in less than an hour.

SLØTFACE

"'We refuse to be scared to walk home alone/ We refuse to say we’re okay, we won’t be subdued,' Haley Shea shouts on the new track from her band, Sløtface, backed by a wall of female voices shouting along. The song’s propulsive rhythm and blistering guitar suit the insistent feminist anthem, fueling the fire that already burns plenty bright in Shea’s voice." - Consequence of Sound

"They may have just changed their name, but Sløtface's identity is crystal clear. "Sponge State" is a ferocious effort, full of the band's signature raging refrains and brash vocal delivery." - The Line of Best Fit

MUNCIE GIRLS

Born in punk shows and dive bars to three driven teenagers in 2012, Muncie Girls embodies the classic punk rock story in a modern context.
Fueled by discontent and anxiety, they eloquently address issues of modern living as a self-aware young adult. The result is an ambitious and poignant rebellion against social norms that touches on everything from politics to interpersonal relationships.

Tickets for the show are on sale now.
