Danish electro-pop sensation MØ has been causing a stir with Karen Marie Orsted and her band arguably the most artful and creative of the new wave of ‘Scandi-pop’ artists. Weaving carefully synced imagery and videos into her visceral and invigorating live performance, MØ is already selling out shows Europe over. Celebrating the innovation currently occurring in modern pop, MØ will play a special Illuminations event focusing on popular music’s interactions with visuals at XOYO on Tuesday 5th November 2013. Special guests are to be announced, with additional artists projecting their work within the venue on the night.
MØ landed on everyone’s radar when she posted the emotive, lush synthscapes of Maiden online in May 2012, followed up with a stunning turn at CMJ in New York in the autumn. She has sinced signed with London label Chess Club / RCA Victor who released her latest single Waste of Time.
