Three organizations all committed to promoting the best in music past and current - Spotify, The Guardian and Rockfeedback Concerts - have come together again to co-present the fourth in a series of Spotify Live gigs, all taking place at a venue widely acknowledged to be one of the best new spaces for the London music scene, The Lexington in Islington.

The fourth and final of our special launch events taking place before Christmas, Spotify Live London's next gig takes place on Wednesday 14th December, with a line up comprising of MAVERICK SABRE and CLOCK OPERA.

Coming to us from Hackney by way of Ireland, Maverick Sabre is one of the most distinctive voices in modern R&B.  After rising to prominence with guest spots for Chase & Status and Professor Green, plus a spellbinding turn on Later... With Jools Holland, 2010 has truly proved to be a breakthrough year for a singer who has yet to turn 22.  The Lost Years EP took him to number 2 in the iTunes chart, a feat he’ll surely top when his debut album Lonely Are The Brave is released in January.

In his guise as Clock Opera, Guy Connelly strives to remind listeners that, in a world over-filled with too much cynical, contrived and complacent pop music, pop music can still be pretty amazing.  A dizzying, chopped up mix of samples, beats and wrangled vocals that never bury a winning melody, the live show is as engaging as his influences are eclectic.

Tickets for the show are free and can be obtained by RSVP lists and competitions hosted by each of the partners. Those wishing to gain access can win tickets at the and websites, whilst Spotify Premium Account holders are also able to RSVP to to win entry, and claim a free drink on the night.

In addition to this, a strictly limited allocation of entry will be made available for those wishing to try their luck on the night on a first-come first-served basis, allowing those who missed out earlier the chance to still potentially attend.

Competitions open today (Friday 9th Dec) at 11am, and all successful applicants will receive a confirmation email on Monday (12th Dec) evening if successful in their bid to win entry. All competitions close on Monday (12th Dec) at 4pm.

Performances at each show will also be captured on film and will be available up on the Guardian, Spotify and Rockfeedback websites and social media after each gig, featuring exclusive interviews with each of the acts performing.
