Part of an exciting new wave of French R&B (that also includes the likes of Bonnie Banane, OK Lou and Holybrune), her tracks to date have seen her collaborate with electronic producer Sayem for a sound that’s modern, dreamy and sensual.
DBFC are a Parisian band who create a wonderfully modern psych-tronica sound. Signed in the UK to PIAS offshoot Different, their music connects them with the fine lineage of French electronic music, British shoegaze and 60s psychedelia.
The music of these four Brittany youngsters, now based in Nantes, create emotionally charged rock that speaks to the disconsolate child we all have inside us.
After a flying start in late 2011 and the release just months later of their first EP, We Are Young, on Kitsuné, Juveniles, the band’s Yuksek-produced debut album, was released in June 2013. Since then the band have travelled widely, staying true to their roots in Brittany, a region known to have a certain passion and curiosity for connecting with the world outside France.
