POMPEYA

Pompeya is a Moscow band that creates unabashed Pop and New Wave music inspired by likes of  80's classics from The Cure to Duran Duran. Their debut "Tropical" (2011) and follow up "Foursome" (2012) earned the band significant popularity in their home country, "energetically introducing Moscow’s youth to <..> indie culture" remarked Los Angeles radio station KCRW. The two releases were reissued in 2013 by Mishu, alongside with a remix LP that included edits from Jimmy Edgar, Fred Falke, Psychomagik and others. These releases did well among U.S. college radio stations.

The band released third «Real» LP in 2015 via Mishu, mixed by Brian Mctear (Local Natives, War on Drugs) in Philadelphia and co-produced by Dave Hartely (The War On Drugs) in NYC which been noticed by Stereogum, Entertainment Weekly, Noisey and other outlets. Tobi Lynn - host of LA's Alt 98.7fm mentioned "Real" among her «favourite Top 10 records of 2015»

Followed years the band spent in writing songs that  later became their fourth album "Dreamers" in 2018. Album was completely written and recorded in the USA, produced by musicians themselves and mixed by Jules de Gasperis (Bleached, James Supercave) in Los Angeles. Pompeya went d.i.y. and released the LP without record label - as Pompeya Music.

2019 the band released «Songs From The Videos» LP - the collection of singles 2010 - 2018 that also exists as an Official Music Videos.

SWIM MOUNTAIN

Swim Mountain is London-based artist and producer Tom Skyrme. His 2014 debut self-titled EP brought us washed layers of evocative guitars and vocal harmonies written under the hazy LA sun. The Guardian noted that “six tracks just [didn’t] seem enough” from this first release. Skyrme’s 2017 EP Anyone , written and recorded from his studio in East London, experiments with ‘60s guitar riffs, crooning psychedelic beats, and waves of nostalgic synths. The music is about the complicated duality of relationships set against a backdrop of analog synthesizers and punchy drum machines. Indie Accent calls it a “wonderfully textured and innovative piece of music.” Stereofox describes it as “indie-pop tinged, but with a bit of groovy/psychedelic-esque undertones.” Swim Mountain was additionally featured on Tourist’s popular single “Sleepwalking” in 2017. Along with performing as Swim Mountain, Skyrme has film credits as a composer and audio designer (Money Monster , Rough Night ) and has worked extensively in Los Angeles, along with in Hans Zimmer’s studio. Skyrme will be releasing his new EP this winter on Tourist’s M onday Records.
