PUMA BLUE

Puma Blue is the alias of South Londoner Jacob Allen, who has been delicately honing his purposefully paradoxical sound, blending downtown jazz sax lines with J Dilla grooves and a heart-wrenching vocal akin to Jeff Buckley, Chet Baker and Billie Holliday. This blend is completed by Allen's punk-inspired grit and the ferocity of his live performances, backed by a four-piece band, spewing out tortured love songs and sensual rhythms topped by his haunting falsetto vocals.

"Allen has an emotive, fragile voice that you feel could go anywhere, but mainly sticks around the middle-C of your heart strings, strumming away in the Lauryn Hill-approved manner." - London In Stereo

CHARTREUSE

Chartreuse are a four piece band from Birmingham, England.

Their sound can be described as ambient dark-pop, at the same time keeping the classic sounds of folk, soul and jazz genres that influence them.

Chartreuse's founding members were Michael Wagstaff and Harriet Wilson. They started out writing folk music together in 2013. They then expanded to a four piece in the summer of 2014, with the addition of their rhythm section:  Bass and Keyboard player Perry Lovering and finally drummer Rory Wagstaff .

The four musicians have a very close friendship, Rory and Michael are brothers, Harriet and Perry are childhood friends that over the years have crossed paths in previous musical projects. Chartreuse had their first show as a band in October 2014 and since then have been invited on support tours and played shows with Matt Corby, Lucy Rose and Drenge.

There is a bright future for Chartreuse as they begin their musical journey and win over fans around the world.
