Three Trapped Tigers to play new material from forthcoming sophomore album.

Three Trapped Tigers are renowned as a formidable live act who defy simple categorisation. Their brutal but beautiful brand of synth-laden experimental rock has earned them fans around the world including Deftones and Brian Eno.

Formed in 2007 and initially inspired to replicate the high octane programming and ecstatic melodies of Warp luminaries Squarepusher and Aphex Twin (filtered though the sensibilities of noise duo Lightning Bolt) as a live band, the Tigers’ incendiary energy has been known to leave audiences stunned with jaw-dropping musicianship and an expansive sound that belies their trio format.

Exploring these early influences and more through a series of three EPs from 2008-2010 (later collected as Numbers: 1-13) culminated in a more personal aesthetic on 2011’s critically acclaimed Route One or Die. The band’s second full-length album has recently been completed and is expected in 2015.
