2013 saw THUMPERS release their first three magnificent singles, tour with Everything Everything, CHVRCHES and sign to Sub Pop in North America for their debut album. Additionally, they played over 15 festivals including Reading & Leeds, performed live sessions for Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and 6Music’s Lauren Laverne as well as being playlisted on Radio 1’s Introducing.

This year looks to be no less exciting, already tipped by the likes of VEVO, Transmitter, The Line of Best Fit, Independent on Sunday, Fake DIY and Amazing Radio, the duo now confirm their next single ‘Galore’ will be released on 24th February through True Say Recordings.

If Haim were the sibling outfit who dominated 2013, then expect new brother-sister act Southern to have the same effect

in 2014. They’ve been described as “the most promising singer/songwriters in Ireland today” and soon their furious mash-
up of blues, alternative rock, pop and hip hop will win them even wider acclaim.

Formed in 2009, Cut Ribbons are an up-tempo indie rock band from Wales. Having already played Swn Festival and Beach Break Live as well as recording a Radio 1 BBC Introducing live session for Jen Long. Radio exposure has also been gained from Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac, Jen Long, Huw Stephens and Adam Walton.

After working in the studio with Richard Jackson (Young Legionnaire, The Chapman Family, Future of the Left, Mclusky, The Automatic) the first single will be available through Kissability (Transgressive Records) in late 2011.
