"Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own Visions. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the Visions unborrowed, and the response they received — hatred. We headline Visions Festival on the 4th August.” - HMLTD

VISIONS festival returns on Saturday 4th August 2018. Today, VISIONS announces a whole raft of hugely exciting new acts to the music line-up of this year’s festival, which already features the likes of IDLES, HMLTD, NILÜFER YANYA, LAURA MISCH and many more, and is shaping up to the best edition of the event yet.

From London – nu-grunge star Marika Hackman and psych-rock band YAK join the bill, and Visions is this year very excited to host Yannis Philippakis (Foals) and friends as they bring their MILK. club night to the East London one-dayer for a special late night event. Curated by Philippakis, a host of surprise guest musicians will convene for a one-time-only, entirely improvised live performance, occupying one of the official after-party venues at the festival.

Joining the festival from overseas is cult American noise-rock duo No Age, Canadian actor and singer-songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage and New Zealand producer Jonathan Bree, as the festival again focuses on varied and different sounds. Some of the best London electronic artists will also perform at VISIONS including producer LONE and Erased Tapes’ Rival Consoles, following the release of his acclaimed new album. Kate Tempest and Sampha’s collaborator Kwake Bass will also appear. VISIONS is thrilled to showcase the newest and exciting talent from across the Capital at the festival and this year we have the capital’s nu-jazz star Oscar Jerome, alongside Because Music’s new signing Sons of Raphael and fast-rising four-piece SORRY. Elsewhere, we are pleased to announce French-born gothic-pop artist Lauren Auder and the six-piece Danish band Pardans will also perform.

In addition, VISIONS is thrilled to announce that FUCKED UP will return to the UK on Friday 3rd August to play a special Visions Presents Friday event with special guests to be announced. This will be the band’s first London show in 3 years, ahead of them releasing their eagerly anticipated new album, tickets for this go on-sale Friday at 10am.

VISIONS also offers various non-music events which include firm favourites such as the Dog Show, Record and Zine Fair and the Street Food & Craft Beer Market. We are excited to welcome back Punk Rock Karaoke. More to be announced in the coming months.
