Kieran Hebden & Steve Reid - Brain (Domino)

For people renowned for an open minded approach to all things sonic, 'Tongues' is probably about as deliriously mental as they've ever got. It's a great record, and 'Brain' is a great track from it. The wholly improvised piece comes with a video, below, featuring footage from their near legendary Scala show last year, and is a great way to spend six minutes twenty of anyone's afternoon. Thankfully, visually it's about as freeform and liberating to see as the music is to listen to.
