Despite new names for genres flying all over the place and bands seemingly desperate to combine two hitherto unrelated styles in an attempt to assert their place on the musical landscape these days, it seems you lot are understandably getting a bit fed up of it, and resorting to the likes of Good Shoes, The Maccabees and other folk, like this bunch of Alterkicks, who are as good as it currently gets for a charming, honest jangle.
