You heard 'Ice Cream', right? The New Young Pony Club song we excitedly described as "The Gossip doing Prince's 'Sexy MF'"? Of course you did. There they are eating some of the stuff up there, in a park, barefoot. The hippies.
But here we have them focusing on something a little more conceptually heavy, the idea of 'The Bomb'. Of course, being the band they are, they're dancing around singing about this bomb of theirs in a very frivolous and highly entertaining manner, rather than dwelling on thoughts of nuclear holocaust a la that really long experimental piece that Yo La Tengo jammed out. Yo La who? Get to the back of the class.
