Dinosaur Jr - Been There All The Time (Sire)

This makes us smile so, so much. Directed by long time band associate and Hollywood star Matt Dillon, the video for 'Been There All The Time' sees Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore sitting in a front room reading Negative Approach vinyl liner notes, watching some kids play some hippy jazz noise before requesting the child band play the new Dinosaur Jr single instead, at which point the kids transform in to Lou, J and Murph and bash out this, which sounds like a long forgotten classic, but is in fact the first track to be lifted from the reformed grungers' upcoming LP 'Beyond'. Marvellous.
