LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great (DFA / EMI)

LCD are a band not short of classic, genre defining tunes, but with 'Someone Great' they've surpassed themselves. A true highlight on an album full of them, it's been reduced from its marvellous eight minute form on parent LP 'Sound of Silver' to a more digestible, MTV-friendly four-or-so in this guise, but comes with a video by award winning filmmaker Doug Aitken to make up for hacking half of the song away.
