Mothlite - One In Water (Southern)

Mothlite are a band who take their name from the classic Stan Brackage work Mothlite, a film composed of moth wings, leaves and debris stuck directly to 35mm piece of film (a must see).
The band are set to release their new album The Flax of Reverie some time in mid May. This wonderfully eerie video is a taste of what you can expect, with some fantastically executed visuals to go with it. The video showcases the band's alertness to subtlety and darkness, plus there is also an intriguing nature theme running through the imagery and ideas that gives it a sort of murky, earthy, countryside feel.
Flax Of Reverie's cast of musicians includes clarinet/saxophone virtuoso Gilad Atzmon (Robert Wyatt, The Blockheads), bassoonist Chloe Herington (Chrome Hoof), violinist Sara Hubrich (Miasma & The Carousel Of Headless Horses) and drummer Jaime Gomez Arrellano.
