Stricken City release freebie debut EP
By: Dan Monsell

Fresh from a great little set at our very own globally infamous Basement Club last week, London four-piece Stricken City have announced that their debut EP is now available for free download at www.strickencity.com
Purists on the other hand can purchase the debut single 'Tak o Tak / Bardou' on limited edition 7", released on Adventures Close To Home Records from 28th July.
Musically, the band have caused a veritable stir of late, exciting a lot of people with their reverb-heavy C-86-friendly guitar pop; calling to mind the likes of The Walkmen, The Sugarcubes or The Organ. In the bands own words, singer Rebecca Raa tells us Stricken City "like catchy melodies, one note guitar solos and lots of reverb". And so do we miss Raa, so do we.
