News from O2 - Mew announce tour dates
I am going to start this post with a video. This pretty much sums up exactly why Mew are the awesome spectacle we love so much - Falsetto vocals, teamed with building-a-climax skills comparable to prog giants Mowgai and Icelandic strangelings Sigur Ros; Mew create truly beautiful planes of sound; the rings of Saturn of ethereal rock music.
Lucky for us these stellar engineers of closed-eyes-hands-and-lighters-in-the-air aural delights are hitting the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on the 10th of November, after a support slot for Nine Inch Nails in the capital this week.
So, look out for that, and, er... this is a game the band made. Which is yet another reason to go and see them, I guess.
