Rockfeedback DJs @ Club Stripe with Gaggle, The Molotovs, Arrows Of Love + more at London Cross Kings, 7/10/09

As well as running more shows than we've had nights in (10 in the last month and a half baby!) sometimes we also like to keep the party ticking by spinning our massive record collections out at friends’ nights around town. You can spot us looking suitably bedraggled, arguing between us about what to drop next and standing back triumphantly as we spin a Velvet Underground rarity to a cleared floor, or jumping up and down to Prince this Wednesday, if you like.
We're off to do said DJing down at Club Stripe on the 7th of October, which is happening at our old haunt the Cross Kings in Kings Cross, north London. A club night run by our friends at Red Stripe (sponsors indeed of Rockfeedback TV series 3), it features live sets from the fantastic riot grrl choir named Gaggle, who we're full of love for, indie-popsters The Molotovs, hot newbies Arrows of Love and a band we know nothing of who may well be very good indeed, Legs Eleven. If that's not enough, some other musical types will be jostling us for the decks - they go by the names of Artrocker, Notion Magazine and Bloody Awful Poetry DJs.
THEY WILL NEVER DEFEAT US.
We've also been told there's some kinda art installation things downstairs and a splattering of acoustic acts too. So a shindig it will most certainly be. We'll be there digging some shins ourselves and playing everything from Simple Minds to Shellac, Elvis Costello to Ex-Models, and MIA to Minor Threat.
It's all kicks off at 7.30pm. One can get tickets for £5.00 advance from this well renowned outlet, or rock up on the door - it's at 126 York Way, 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station. Flyer below.
