Clues are busy playing London shows, releasing ltd. ed. 7”s, giving away MP3s and vids, generally being cool

After we fell head over heels for Clues’ debut LP (released on Constellation earlier this year), we thought it only right to point out that the band have a load of free stuff to give away, a seven inch coming out, and will be playing a gig in the venue beneath our very office, London’s lovely Lexington, on Sunday night (25th October).
Said seven inch, released not only to coincide with the tour but also to honour Barack Obama’s entirely deserved and not at all premature claiming of the Nobel Peace Prize this month (so we’re told), will be a limited edition affair “spreading a message of peace and harmony whilst arguing the merits of bank nationalisation and the command economy”. It features a remix of album centrepiece ‘*Ledmonton*’, and an early demo of ‘You Have My Eyes Now’ - there are only 500 of them, they’re all silkscreen printed on thick linen-textured brown card (well, it is Constellation Records, after all) and you can only pick them up at Clues shows. Luckily, there’s one of them taking place at The Lexington in London on Sunday night, and another the day after (October 26th), an in-store affair with our friends at Puregroove Records in Farringdon.
Furthermore, we’ve two MP3s to give away to celebrate their unabated brilliance, the first being the aforementioned ‘*Ledmonton*’, the second going under the name of ‘Remember Severed Head’. There’s also the video for ‘Haarp’ to feast your eyes on and keep forever, which should be enough Clues to lead you to the conclusion that there’s something really quite special going on here.
