The fifth episode of the Rockfeedback podcast is the biggest yet – mainly because we couldn’t get the Futureheads to stop talking to our Toby L about everything from Elton John to Nick Griffin in an exclusive interview they granted us after their recent London Lexington show. Well, that, and we certainly have a lot to say about singles from LCD Soundsystem, The Flaming Lips and Weezer. Especially Weezer. On a brighter note, what with it being the 2009th anniversary of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the kind boys of Official Secrets Act offer us a festive take on Joni Mitchell’s ‘River’ (it’s got the word ‘Christmas‘ in it!) to close proceedings in a way that’ll make you feel all warm and good about yourself, even if you really don’t deserve to.
