Rockfeedback Presents... Back on Channel 4

By: Thomas Hannan

After three series’ worth of artist documentaries and festival specials for television, and a host of material broadcast everywhere from video games consoles to aeroplanes traversing the pond, Rockfeedback are delighted to announce the return of our Rockfeedback Presents... show to Channel 4 this April.  A three part mini-series, this time focusing on once-in-a-lifetime performances from a trio of heritage artists, Rockfeedback Presents... will air as part of the channel’s 4Music programme on Friday nights, with subsequent on-demand airings on 4OD.  Some dates for your diary...

FRIDAY APRIL 2nd – ROCKFEEDBACK PRESENTS... THE PIXIES (1:35am)

In which indie legends the Pixies (pictured) perform a set of fan–selected classics to a few hundred, overjoyed competition winners at the Village Underground Gallery in London. Their smallest ever UK show, the band, along with long-time photographer Simon Larbalastier and art director Vaughan Oliver, talk openly about the night and the new box set Minotaur that it celebrated.

FRIDAY APRIL 9th – ROCKFEEDBACK PRESENTS... JARVIS COCKER (exact time TBC)

Billed as ‘Jarvis Cocker Makes An Exhibition Of Himself’, the ex-Pulp man’s takeover of a warehouse space/art gallery involved everything from burlesque dancing and circus classes to impromptu jams with the audience, book readings, and, naturally, Jarvis’ distinct brand of erudite yet primal rock and roll during a very special, intimate live performance.

FRIDAY APRIL 16th – ROCKFEEDBACK PRESENTS... GRAHAM COXON (exact time TBC)

With a rapturously-received Blur reunion out of the way, Graham Coxon descended upon London’s Barbican with a band including folk legends Martin Carthy and Robyn Hitchcock to perform his recently released and critically acclaimed solo LP ‘The Spinning Top’ in its entirety.  Graham and his special guests talk us through a most memorable evening.
