What The Hell Is Going On? #44: Sessions Week Pt. 3
By: Thomas Hannan

Hey mate.
Rockfeedback TV filmed probably its strangest acoustic session yet on Monday morning, when we piled Local Natives in to a four poster bed in a very swanky West London hotel and were treated to a cover of Talking Heads’ ‘Warning Sign’ – ‘why?’, you ask? Well... it’s a bit difficult to explain. You’ll find out soon enough.
What Rockfeedback Telly are far more used to doing is filming things like the ever-incredible Rockfeedback Sessions. We’ve been sitting on a few gems for a little while now, waiting ‘til we had enough of them in the bag to dedicate a whole week on the player to their charms.
That week dawned on Monday, when we unveiled our session with the usually raucous but on this occasion devastatingly pared-back Antlers, delivering often unrecognisably sparse yet still hugely affecting versions of their bombast mini-anthems. A session from enchanting Welsh freak folker Cate Le Bon (pictured) was the star of Tuesday’s telly activity, her solo appearance followed today (Wednesday) with a duet on which she’s joined by none other than Mr. Lawrence Arabia for a tear-inducing take on Peter Paul and Mary’s ‘That’s What You Get For Loving Me’. One of the few gentlemen truly deserving of the word ‘unique’ being attributed to his person, the dazzling Marques Toliver, delivers his Rockfeedback Session on Thursday, whilst we end on an altogether noisier note on Friday when LA noise-pop duo No Age head with us out of our usual session environment to visit our good friends at Urchin Studios, and session the hell outta there instead.
