What The Hell Is Going On? #49: Club Rockfeedback Week

Hey mate.
Myself and a select team of elite Rockfeedback henchmen have just arrived in Oslo, Norway, where we’re getting ready to film the Øya Festival for a forthcoming RFB TV documentary. We’ll be catching up with everyone from Raekwon to The Gaslight Anthem over the course of the next four days, and if you follow us on Twitter, you’ll be able to keep up with our frantic movements and marvel at just how many times we’re able to use the word ‘Norway’ in a pun between now and the end of the week. Which is almost as good as being here.
To keep you entertained whilst we’re away, the Rockfeedback TV player has a week’s worth of footage filmed at our Rockfeedback Live nights airing on it this week. We started yesterday with clever as they come Dischord-esque punks Cold Pumas (pictured) performing for us at London’s Lexington back in March, the same venue hosting kindred spirits DD/MM/YYYY for us in today’s footage. Tomorrow, check back in for Fiction’s take on forward thinking yet gladly Talking Heads-indebted indie funk, before we begin to round the week up with a set from the gorgeous harmonies of Kassidy at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on Thursday, and Friday’s treat of a set from the nigh on unclassifiable Fol Chen. If you’re wondering whether there’s any interview footage mixed in with all that meaty live music, I can confirm that the rumours are true – there bloody is.
