ROCKFEEDBACK X – SOLD OUT + VENUE CHANGE FROM XOYO TO ELECTROWERKZ
By: Toby L

'Rockfeedback X: Ten Years of Rockfeedback', which occurs tomorrow night (Friday 17th September; 8pm-late) has sold out – and there is a last minute venue change.
Originally due to be held at the brand-new XOYO venue, Shoreditch – which yesterday confirmed its opening had been postponed due to technical difficulties – the event will now be happening at the nearby Electrowerkz club, Islington.
Toby L, founder of Rockfeedback, comments:
'We're over the moon with the response and demand for the anniversary party. This venue change, although sudden to ticket-buyers and those partaking in the event, is slightly surreal for us, as Electrowerkz was originally in the final running as a space for the event.
'It's an absolutely awesome, weird and wonderful, creative place, and as a result of the move means we will be opening more rooms and areas to make the night even bigger and more insane than we were originally planning.
'For anyone that's bought tickets, no need to worry – it's just down the road from XOYO, and behind Angel tube station, approximately a one-to-two minute walk.
'We wish the organisers of XOYO all the best in getting their venue ready for future events. In the meantime, though, see you at Electrowerkz – it's going to rule.'
For anyone that missed out on tickets, limited late night club entry will be available from 11pm, although this is on a first come, first served basis.
The Electrowerkz venue (also known as 'The Islington Metal Works') is located on 7 Torrens Street, London, EC1V 1NQ (located behind Angel tube station, off City Road). Click here for a map.
'Rockfeedback X' features exclusive live sets from the likes of British Sea Power, Future of the Left, Anna Calvi, Three Trapped Tigers and two yet-to-be-named special guests. DJ sets will occur from Bloc Party Vs CoPilots, Olugbenga (Metronomy), Geoff Travis (Rough Trade Records), Rough Trade Shops, Eat Your Own Ears, Rockfeedback vs Transgressive Records, and more besides.
Split across two floors in multiple rooms, there will be live visuals, TV screenings and projections, and further surprises planned.
