Everything Everything
We’d recommend you clear your diary for next Thursday evening (Nov 11th) and head to Fabric for FABRIC4X, a massive charity gig and early Christmas party from the good people at Bang On. Boasting a rather tasty lineup including live sets from The Invisible, Stricken City and Rowdy Superst*r ably supported by the DJ talents of Everything Everything, New Young Pony Club, Micachu and The 2 Bears among others, the whole thing has been assembled to raise money for and awareness of ‘Fragile X Syndrome’, the most common form of inherited mental impairment.
There are 1.4 million people affected by Fragile X Syndrome worldwide, and 17.5 million people carry the affected gene, and most sufferers are unable to live independently. To maximize the money raised for the cause all performers have kindly agreed to waive their fees, and All proceeds raised from the event will help fund The University of Edinburgh’s major new centre for Fragile X Syndrome and Autism Research –the first UK Centre for Research into Fragile X Syndrome and related disorders.
