Micachu and the Shapes have teamed up with the London Sinfonietta for Chopped and Screwed, a forthcoming semi-classical album recorded with one of the country’s finest contemporary orchestras. It keeps happily in line in with frontwoman Mica Levi's other extracurricular affairs, which include a series of mixtapes, a collaboration with Kwes and her ongoing creation of brand new musical instruments (see: The Chu). 'Everything', the first track to surface from the record, works perfectly with Levi's strong vocal deftly accompanied by the near-overwhelming orchestral sounds.
