Gogglebox #12: Watch The Strokes perform a new track on SNL

The Strokes turned up on Saturday Night Live and played a brand new song none of us have ever heard before! It's crazy how they can just do that isn't it? Just play new music like they don't give a shit! Don't they understand the intense scrutiny they're under, or how much people want them to succeed? According to the NME guitar music is on it's way back in (again). It's not like I ever remember it going anywhere, but seriously, it's on its way back. Official. And on this evidence, The Strokes could be the figureheads of the 6 string movement for the second time around. Until then ,let's forget about all that important 'scene' stuff and just listen to music and pretend it even matters.
They banged out 'Under Cover Of Darkness' too. But we already knew how that one went.
