Gogglebox #13: Watch Mystery Jets - 'Serotonin'

By: Mike Harounoff

Mystery Jets return with the third single to be taken from their latest record 'Serotonin'. The track is a favourite from the album, its whispered vocals building into one of their trademark choruses for a song that's sure to resonate with anyone who's dealt with love, drugs or both at the same time. The video, co-directed by friend of the band and Good Shoes man Rhys Jones and his partner Paul Routledge, revels in their new found slicker and simpler side as opposed to the chaotic proggy days of their Eel Pie incarnation. Whether or not we're watching people genuinely come up or we're just being tricked is certainly debatable but what we can be sure of is that the Mystery Jets are continuing to grow into the indie mainstays they deserve to be with every move they make.
