Gogglebox #22: Watch Gang Gang Dance - 'MindKilla'
Gang Gang Dance are more than back with the first video from their new record Eye Contact, set to be released in May. Following on from 'Glass Jar', the record's 11-minute opener that dropped last month, 'Mindkilla' has all the traditional hallmarks of a great GGD track - screechy freakzoid vocals courtesy of Lizzi Bougatsos, dancehall drum sequences and synth breakdowns galore. The video, similarly, is very typical of the group, with mysticalcolours and landscapes blending with menacing, schizophrenic, dreamlike sequences of dancing warriors and reflected pools of light. An excellent return from an excellent group.
