So, Record Store Day . Did anybody pick up anything they really wanted? Did anybody even manage to pick up anything they even kind of wanted but felt they should get just to support their local record store? Record Store Day is a great thing - not only great for music, but also for giving people that obsess over vinyl a reason to wake up before 10am.
Of course, it's also great for the actual gems that bands release or re-release on the day. This year, nothing was more sought after than Radiohead's unreleased King of Limbs cuts 'Supercollider' and 'The Butcher', basking in their own glory on limited edition vinyl. If you managed to pick a copy up then congratulations, it was totally worth it, I mean only 2,000 were pressed so you're one of a lucky 2,000 people who exclusively get to hear these Radiohead tracks! But you should also stop reading here. Those of you that didn't manage to pick up a physical release and have been sitting at home wondering if life is even worth living if you can't hear every Radiohead track ever made available shouldn't worry - we've got them for you to listen to right here.
