Gogglebox: Watch Drake - 'Marvin's Room'
By: Mike Harounoff

Everybody with even a vague interest in Drake will know that he's going through a hard time right now. Of course, he's probably not really going through a hard time at all, and this is all just a rouse to get us to buy his album, but he did used to act in Degrassi so it's difficult to tell when he's being genuine. Drizzy is aware that the high polished R&B he's been running off is hitting its comedown as the once white vested, big chained, low jeans wearing youngsters are growing older and developing consciences. Drake is making himself a martyr for all young men who are about to be come full grown men. The video for 'Marvin's Room' captures this world in its full effect. The packed V.I.P once craved by our hero is replaced by a lonely stool at the bar where he's sipping whiskey not Cristal. What's more, it's not about any girl it's about that one girl. Drake is slowly but surely becoming one of the most emotionally and mentally identifiable men in music, even if he is supposedly only penning tracks for "guys driving cars at night in Toronto".
