Rockfeedback’s 4Play Show on Metronomy airs on Channel 4 Tonight (8 July), 12.55am

You can't really say no when Joe from Metronomy gives you a call and asks you to come chat to him in his homeland of Torbay about the inspiration behind their effortlessly cool and strikingly intelligent, South West-Coastified album The English Riviera. Then when Channel 4 say they’d like it all to form part of a documentary for their 4Play series you most certainly pick up your tail, film the band playing an exclusive session under your office, follow them to Manchester for another gig at the Night & Day Cafe, then make a delightful, familiar little piece out of it for all and sundry to watch. Which is exactly what we did.
The episode will be airing tonight (Friday 8th July) at 12.55 am - we know that actually makes it on Saturday, but it's a Friday night and time doesn't operate in quite the same way as on regular days. It will be live on Channel 4, but if you miss it you can watch on 4OD. Hope you enjoy.
