Gogglebox: Watch Bjork – ‘Moon’

Bjork is well and truly on the comeback trail, going all-out on the promo for her new LP Biophilia. 'Moon', the second single, is classic Ms. Guðmundsdóttir fare, eerie and mysterious and ever so slightly menacing, and the video clip appropriately matches the stuttering harp-led track. Under a gigantic plume of fire-red hair, Bjork shrieks and giggles along with 'Moon' and holds up something which is either a semi-precious stone or something she dropped down the back of the sofa a few years ago and left to mature and fester before finding it again the other week while she was sweeping up for her friend's visit. Around her, strings of pearls/moons spin and move in mesmerising synergy, and there's something that looks a bit like an animal skeleton about 2/3 of the way through. It's not much to go on, but it's mesmerising and oddly beautiful, which is pretty much par for the course for our Bjork.
