Listen To: The Weeknd - 'Initiation'

We've all had the time to live with 'Thursday', the second of The Weeknd's brilliant mixtapes, and as per usual Abeal Tesfaye seems to know exactly when we might stop listening to it everyday and countered by dropping a brand new track over on their Soundcloud. It's not a million miles away from what we've become used to from the Canadian future R&B stars, but there's definitely another side of Tesfaye coming across here. Industrial and faster paced, it falls on the side of hip hop rather than slow jams. It's a positive step forward for Tesfaye, who plans to drop the third of his mixtapes 'Echoes Of Silence' later this year, into a territory he's hinted at but also left largely untouched.
