Love Music Hate Racism: The Others, The Cribs & More Play On The Back Of A Bus!

By: Toby L

GravyramblesStars of the present uprising of musical London such as The Others, The Cribs, Art Brut and The Fades paraded around the capital on Sunday (6th June) performing a multitude of individual and super-group gigs - on the side of a truck.

All for a supremely decent cause, too - Love Music Hate Racism, which had pulled its original plans of an open-air event at Finsbury Park after planning-issues; a subsequent rescheduled date at the Hammersmith Apollo was also cancelled, following headliners The Libertines' present toils (namely, frontman Pete Doherty's present health condition).

Not to worry - when there's a large motor-vehicle at hand and overly keen youthful rockers at the helm, there's always a way. Spreading the anti-fascist message throughout all corners of the big smoke, inclusive of Camden Town, Brick Lane and Brixton, a super-group of The Others and The Cribs, plus more, went under the banner of Gravyrambles to perform unruly noisy sets to gobsmacked locals and distracted motorists.

More unique LMHR events are planned in the next few months; get involved.
