Gogglebox: Watch High Places – ‘Sonora’ (NSFW)
Rockfeedback favourites for many years, High Places return with another bout of spooky techno beauty on their fourth full-length Original Colors, set to drop in a few weeks. The video for 'Sonora' is the first clip we get from the album, and it's effing amazing. Soundtracked by one of their finest songs to date (and that's saying something), the clip takes the viewer along for the ride as singer Mary Pearson goes in search of some bad dudes to fuck up. Crawling and sneaking her way around some middle-of-nowhere terrain, Pearson's weirdly swollen arm is never explained, but you sort of piece together a revenge narrative from all the blood and tied up men and suchlike. This is sick, in every sense of the word. And Angus from Liars is in it!
