We'll make no excuses when it comes to our appreciation of Outfit. Since featuring them in our New Ideas series way back when, they went onto kill it with single 'Two Islands' (which would've certainly made it into our tracks of the year - if we did one). The band have now returned with new track 'Dashing In Passing' set for release on the marvellous Sounds Of Sweet Nothing (Gross Magic, UMO). The song sees the band step into a new territory, taking their trademark atmospherics and doing their best to chop and screw them leaving us with a slow building, thoughtful and innovative piece of music that may be worth starting a 'Tracks of the Year' for.
