Anniversary Shows: One Week To Go...

By: Toby L

Hope Of The StatesOoh, can you 'frickin' feel it? The alluring enticement, the outright, devastating anticipation surrounding the ensuing seven days is heating tepidly and rapidly amidst rockfeedback HQ at present.

And why? rockfeedback.com celebrates four years of existence (a month late) at Camden's Barfly @ Monarch, and two years of its flagship Basement Club at our resident venue, the Highbury Buffalo Bar, N1. Further info on both gigs, as follows.

Camden's Barfly: Friday 29th October sees a Queens Of Noize co-promoted, fourth anniversary celebration of rockfeedback.com's continued, passionate assault on the musical senses, with a stellar line-up numbering our affiliated Transgressive Records acts, The Subways and Ladyfuzz, plus one other truly exclusive live treat; a massively tipped, freshly signed NYC act making their debut London gig. We can't announce who they are 'til the day before. It's that scintillating. Purchase tickets now via here.

Highbury Buffalo Bar: Then, the night before - Thursday 28th October - shall see many hi-jinks and much revelry as rockfeedback and Gordon Raphael's The Basement Club turns a whole two year's old. To celebrate, we've got The Subways playing once more, on-first, plus the headlining treat of top-20 post-rock force, Hope Of The States. Talk about a coup. That one's now - sadly - sold out. Apologies; well done to those of you that secured tickets.

And DJ-ing at both events are very special, random guests - recognisable from rockfeedback's past live-events (incl. Ed Harcourt at the Barfly and Rough Trade's legendary honcho Geoff Travis on the Thursday) - plus writers from the team. It's set to be ecstatic.
