Field Music (beautifully crafted pop genius; Maximo Park-endorsed; producers of one of 2005's finest debut albums) and Absentee (downbeat, Leonard Cohen/Pulp/Grandaddy hybrid, with a James Ford-produced (Mystery Jets, Arctic Monkeys, Test-Icicles) album due to drop shortly) headline the January return of The Basement Club on Thursday January 26th.

Guest DJs will also appear on the night, which occurs - as ever - at Islington's Buffalo Bar, N1, 8pm.
