The Maccabees for 23/8 Basement Club

The beginning of Rockfeedback's many months of landmark moments commences with the fortieth Basement Club boasting one of its finest line ups to date.
On Thursday August 23rd, all conquering indie heroes The Maccabees, with a great debut album under their belt (read the Rockfeedback review HERE) and fresh from selling out huge arenas all over the UK, will be treating Basement Clubbers to a special warm up show before their Reading and Leeds performances just days afterwards. A coup, we're sure you'll agree.
New signings to Vertigo Records, Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit, will be in support to showcase their joyous alt-folk, in addition to special guest DJs.

As usual, the gig takes place at the Buffalo Bar on Highbury Corner in Islington, London, right next to Highbury and Islington underground station (Zone 2, Victoria Line, one stop from Kings Cross). Tickets cost £10.00, doors will be open at 8pm, and regrettably, as it's a licensed venue, it's 18 and over.
