Jay Reatard announces vinyl single series and tour

One man garage rock machine Jay Reatard has proved he certainly isn't backward in coming forward by announcing a busy schedule of releases for what is left of 2008.
Reatard will be putting out a series of six limited edition 7" singles, which will then be collected on to one CD for those technophobes who have yet to catch on with this new-fangled vinyl revolution.
The first two in the series- 'Painted Shut'/'An Ugly Death' (pictured here) and 'See Saw'/'Screaming Hand' - are out on Matador on May 19th.
Reatard also brings his renowned live show to the UK in May, but obviously has a lot of sightseeing to do in London, so unless you have a ticket to Pitchfork vs ATP, you are going to have to head to the capital if you want to see it.
