It's getting harder and harder to keep up with the multitude of festivals line-ups this summer. Not only is there an unprecedented amount of multi-stage shenanigans of all shapes and sizes in this country, the complete and utter saturation of the summer seems to be spreading throughout Europe, with new events popping up on a weekly basis.
However, with almost all the European festival line-ups better than this year's Glastonbury, those punters willing to spread their wings would be well worth looking abroad for the best entertainment. VipINmusic is one of several Croatian festivals this year, and has one of the bills most likely to make you go "Wha...?" and double take.
Headlined by the fascinating combination of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Prodigy, the 20,000 capacity festival features live music across 4 stages, including the likes of Stereo MCs, Hot Chip, The Go! Team, Serj Tankian, Sons & Daughters, XX Teens and acts from across the Balkans, Africa and beyond.
VipINmusic takes place on the banks of the Lake Jarun in the centre of Zagreb on the 3rd and 4th of June. The following acts are set to perform with more to be added:
