Fiery Furnaces to Remember live performances. Lots of them.

By: Thomas Hannan

Fiery Furnaces

Fiery Furnaces have announced details of a mammoth live album to accompany their spring tour of North America. The double-album, entitled 'Remember', pulls together live performances by the Friedbergers and friends from around the globe over the past 3 years.

'Remember' includes 51 songs from throughout Fiery Furnaces' five album career, including 2007's 'Widow City' and is shaping up to be an indispensable document for fans of the band. The duo, who perform as a four-piece live, are notorious for reworking and re-imagining songs during their live show, something they rather wincingly term 'Democ-rock'. Awkward labels aside, it does promise to be more than your run of the mill live record.

The double CD and triple vinyl will be issued in deluxe packaging, with coupons to get hold of even more exclusive material, should the two hours plus on the album not be enough.

Matthew, Eleanor and friends are on tour in America throughout May and June, while 'Remember' is released on September 8th. Don't forget now.
